Description: Hire Resolve`s client is currently seeking a dedicated Safety Officer to join their mining team based in the Northern Cape.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement safety policies and procedures
Conduct regular safety inspections and audits
Create and deliver safety training programs
Investigate accidents and near misses and create reports
Identify and mitigate potential hazards and risks
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards
Requirements:
Grade 12
COMSOC 1&2 OR SAMTRAC
Diploma/Degree in safety management.
5 years` experience as a Safety Officer within the mining industry.
Knowledge in Mine Health & Safety Act.
Knowledge of safety regulations & procedures, risk management, safety training and inspections.
Valid driver`s license
