Description: Hire Resolve`s client is currently looking for a Section Manager to join their mining team based in the Northern Cape. The Section Manager will be responsible for overseeing a specific section of the mine, ensuring efficient and safe operations. Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and company policies
Manage and coordinate the activities of the section, including production, safety, and maintenance
Develop and implement strategies and plans to optimize production and minimize costs
Ensure effective utilization of resources, including equipment, labor, and materials
Monitor and evaluate performance and implement corrective actions as necessary
Lead and develop a team of supervisors and operators
Implement and maintain safety programs and initiatives
Coordinate with other sections and departments to ensure seamless operations
Requirements:
Bachelor`s degree in Mining Engineering or a related field
Mine Manager`s Certificate of Competency
Metalliferous Blasting Ticket
5 years operational experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role
Strong knowledge of mining operations and regulations
