Job Summary
Seeking a Foundry Manager who is able to Manage the Commercial, IR, Safety and Technical Aspects associated with the day to day running of a medium sized Foundry. The ideal person must be highly motivated with a strong technical background and able to work well with people.
Requirements:
Diploma in Engineering or Similar Foundry Technology (Advantageous) 8 Years experience in the Process of manufacturing Metal Castings & or Metal Products 5 years experience in a management capacity Good understanding of Quality Systems, the OHSACT & Air Quality legislation Experience with Budgeting and Financial Control Advanced MS-Office Good communication skills in English-written & verbal Key Performance Areas: Production Outputs & Quality Financial Reporting Managing day to day IR issues Liaising with clients-internal & external Proactively manage machine maintenance and efficiency Constant Drive to innovate technologies used within the Foundry Auditing & Quality Control of sib-contracted foundry work Ensure Safety of Staff
