Job Summary
This established and innovative company manufactures mining products. They offer a supportive culture with great opportunities for growth and development . As the Production Manager , you oversee the day-to-day running of the production facility. You will be responsible for managing and controlling production quality , ensuring smooth and efficient planning and scheduling , and fostering a positive work environment through mentoring and motivating personnel. Duties and responsibilities include: Ensure that all equipment, BOM materials and supplies are readily and continuously available to carry out production processes. Determine resource requirements and work allocation for production operations. Assist in planning, managing and executing production operations. Coordinate and plan production priorities, workflow and schedule. Identify and report operational and maintenance problems to prevent production delays. Schedule routine inspection and maintenance of production equipment to prevent equipment break-downs and malfunctioning. Cost Management. Supervision of production personnel. Production Administration. Monitor daily production and targets. Overseeing quality control and doing routine inspections. Identifying training needs, and ensuring proper training is provided. Optimise people, plant, machinery and equipment. Ensure production process is carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures. Assist in documenting all work instructions and procedures. Address employee concerns and complaints in a professional manner. Assist in interviewing, hiring and training new employees. Ensure health, safety and hygiene.
Requirements:
Minimum grade 12 or Equivalent N6 Electrical Engineering Must be a Qualified Electrician 5 years electrical experience in the Technical/Engineering Environment Supervisory experience Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
