Job Summary
Our client in Bloemfontein is looking to employ a Senior Grain Manager to ensure the sustainable, profitable and effective management of the grain department.
Requirements:
Appropriate B degree or diploma in Agriculture; 5 years management experience; 10 years experience in the grain industry (Trading as well as Silo services); Safex trading certificate will be a recommendation. Skills: Good understanding and knowledge of grain trading and operation of future markets; Analyse management statement; Good negotiation skills; Good Computer skills ( MS Office); Good analytical accounting insight; Business insight; Good interpersonal skills; Good communication skills in both Afrikaans and English; Margin management; Budget management.
Responsibilities:
Strategic management of the grain division; Management of finances, customer service, personnel and market share; Overall management of grain operation and marketing processes.
