Job Summary
AVAILABLE POSITION: Process Control Location: Brakpan We are looking for an excellent Process Controller for the factory based in Brakpan. Must have worked in an OPERATOR position. Must have hands-on experience with Process, mechanical and hydraulic activities. Process including looking for defects, quality checks etc. Computer experienced required presses are connected to computers). Requirements:
Grade 12 (Maths & Science) Must have worked in Operation position with press and other machinery. Minimum 34 years experience in being Process Controller REQUIREMENTS: Hands-on experience with process, mechanical and hydraulic activities. Manufacturing industry knowledge essential Continuous improvement knowledge Plant knowledge and understanding Safety policy experience. Job Specification: Process Control and monitoring checks and monitor plant conditions according to the set procedures. Report all relevant data concerning operation downtime operational changes and product deviation from specifications with the corrective action in the appropriate logbook. Quality Audit Reports Discuss laboratory results with the Production Coordinator or Production Manager. Identify solutions for serious problems. Communication: Discuss relevant information, deviations and actions taken when doing plant hand over. Participate in internal and external audits. Housekeeping: Ensure that no spares are left lying around Health And Safety Take full responsibility of safety in the workplace Maintain safety and housekeeping standards. Attend safety meetings Ensure job safety before any maintenance can take place by any contractor or artisan Ensure that no spares are left lying around Perform non-routine duties as required by upper staff level carry out the non-routine activity (e.g., assist in a productivity improvement project) Excellent manufacturing and process understanding. General functional knowledge. Problem Solving: Evaluates situations by analysing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems Results Orientated
