Job Description:

Sagen Advisory Recruitment company is recruiting a Junior Facilities and Asset Manager to join our renowned Property Management clients growing team, based in the Westlake area of Cape Town.

In this role, you will take on more responsibilities in both facility and asset management, contributing to strategic decision-making and enhancing the overall efficiency of our operations. You will work closely with senior management to support the day-to-day operations of our facilities while gaining practical exposure to asset management practices. The ideal candidate will have a background in business administration, finance, or a related field, with 2-4 years of experience in facility and/or asset management roles.

Responsibilities:

Facility Operations Management:

– Manage day-to-day facility operations, ensuring a safe and functional environment.

– Oversee facility maintenance, security, and cleanliness.

Asset Management Contribution:

– Contribute to asset management strategies, including portfolio optimization and risk management.

– Assist in the analysis of investment opportunities and performance evaluation.

Financial Oversight:

– Lead budgeting and financial management activities for facility operations and asset portfolios.

– Monitor expenses and financial performance, making recommendations for improvements.

Process Improvement:

– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements.

– Identify and implement efficiency measures to enhance operational effectiveness.

Reporting and Communication:

– Provide regular reports on facility and asset performance to senior management.

Qualifications:

Bachelor`s degree or Diploma or Qualifications in business administration, finance, or a related field.
Intermediate knowledge of both facility and asset management practices is a bonus, however, knowledge of one or the other is a requirement.
Budgeting and financial management skills.
2-4 years of experience in facility and/or asset management roles.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Computer literate.
Valid driver`s license.
Own transport.

Remuneration: Market related.
