Job Description: We are currently seeking an experienced and results-driven Logistics Operations Manager to oversee the logistics operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations, optimizing processes, and ensuring the efficient delivery of goods. This role requires both a graduate-level education and relevant experience in operations management.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize efficiency and meet company objectives.
2. Oversee all aspects of logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
3. Manage a team of supervisors and staff, providing leadership, guidance, and support.
4. Monitor performance metrics and KPIs to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
5. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies and procedures.
6. Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of goods.
7. Analyze operational data and trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
8. Implement best practices and standards to streamline operations and enhance productivity.
9. Resolve operational issues and customer complaints in a timely and effective manner.
10. Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and finance, to ensure alignment of goals and objectives.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor`s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
2. Proven experience in operations management, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the transport sector.
3. Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Thorough understanding of logistics operations and supply chain management principles.
6. Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
7. Experience with logistics software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is preferred.
8. Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
9. Experience in the logistics or transportation industry is preferred.
10. Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
