Specialist, precision-focused sheet metal fabricator
Job Description
You will be responsible for the following:
- Daily stock controlling, stock-take and managing of off-cut sheet metal pieces
- Weekly stock controlling, stock-take and managing of full sheets of various sheet metal material
- Maintaining the good order of the stock of the various sheet metal materials and managing the minimum quantities thereof
- Generating a purchase order request when necessary
- Manage and regulate the movement of the various sheet metal materials between the operating machines as per the daily production plan to ensure maximum productivity of the various production machines.
- Daily, Weekly and monthly reporting
Qualifications
- Matric or equivalent qualification
- A valid forklift license
Skills
- Minimum 2 years within a well-structured sheet metal fabrication environment
- Fully English literate (read, write and speak)
- Well organised and meticulous related to administration and paperwork
- Flexible, with attention to detail and can work efficiently under pressure in a very busy workshop
- Ability to identify various different material types
Salary / Package
R10 000 per month
