Job Summary
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Planned and break down maintenance. (Electrical and mechanical) – Make sure all site work is done safely and as per company procedure (ensure that all paperwork is in order before work commences) – Stand-by and call outs duties (operate of boiler, boiler setup and break downs) – Installation of equipment and commissioning thereof, boilers, burners, and auxiliary equipment – Supervise and manage all site work with teams being hands on in the field and office. – Supervise and control site personal in the day-to-day operations and duties of the boiler house. – Communication with the client and management suggesting repairs and site improvements. – Make sure risk assessments and data packs are completed and up to dated. – Follow up on orders and have site orders signed off for maintenance purposes QUALIFICATIONS – Millwright, Electrical or Instrumentation Electrician with a trade certificate and a strong mechanical ability. – An unendorsed drivers licence. – Certified gas practitioners license will be advantageous. EXPERIENCE – A minimum of five years experience maintenance and repair environment covering electrical and mechanical work, PLC controls and programming, fault finding and commissioning, general maintenance. – A strong ability to Supervise staff, reading drawing, technical diagrams and developing basic wiring diagram. – Computer literacy-MS Office, emails Excel and SharePoint – Boiler servicing and commissioning will be advantageous. – Experience in management of projects Should you not receive a response within 10 working days, please consider your application as unsuccessful
