Job Summary
Hire Resolves client, a Restaurant Group with a collection of bespoke restaurants situated throughout
South Africa, is urgently seeking the expertise of a full-time on-site role for a Pilot POS Technician, located in Cape Town. The Pilot POS Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting and technical
support
Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Pilot POS systems for clients
- Provide training and support to clients on how to use the Pilot POS software
- Conduct regular maintenance and updates on Pilot POS systems
- Ensure all systems are functioning properly and meeting clients needs
- Collaborate with other team members to address any technical issues or concerns
Requirements:
- Understanding of Pilot pos system
- Pilot HQ experience would be beneficial
- PLU and RM costing
- Microsoft operating systems from Windows 10 up until Windows Server 2022 but not limited
- Ability to build, maintain and repair computers, laptops and servers
- Strong fundamentals of networking and understanding of WLAN, WAN and LAN environments
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Pilot POS software or related field
- Experience working with a variety of POS systems
- Experience in the retail or hospitality industry
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in IT
- NB. Must have a valid drivers license
