Job Description:
Hire Resolve`s client is seeking a talented and motivated Planner to join their team in Cape Town. The Planner will be responsible for researching, analyzing, and developing planning proposals, policies, and projects to support the continued growth and development of the city. The Planner will work closely with internal teams, government officials, and community stakeholders to ensure that planning initiatives are aligned with the company`s goals and objectives.

– Conduct research and analyze data to support planning initiatives
– Develop planning proposals, policies, and projects
– Collaborate with internal teams, government officials, and community stakeholders
– Manage and coordinate planning projects from inception to completion
– Present findings and recommendations to clients and stakeholders
– Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in urban planning

– Bachelor`s degree in Urban Planning, Geography, Environmental Studies, or related field
– Previous experience working in urban planning or related field
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
– Excellent communication and presentation skills
– Proficient in GIS, AutoCAD, and other planning software
– Knowledge of local planning regulations and policies in Cape Town

• Ensure timely delivery of materials whilst striving to minimize stock levels and assist with warehouse capacity constraints.
• Review and action supplier delivery confirmations – make any necessary changes, advise planning and production if orders cannot be met.
• Review & Action MRP Exception Monitor alerts to ensure orders are bought forward or pushed out as required.
• Ensure inbounds overdue are reviewed to allow timely follow up of late/problem deliveries.
• Ensure timely & accurate set-up & ordering of new raw material/packaging items by effective liaison with relevant functions.

Key requirements:

• Relevant Tertiary qualification
• At least 5 years experience in a similar role
• Raw Materials Essential in a B2B environment (FMCG)
• SAP knowledge is a MUST
