Job Summary

Qualifications and Skills: A relevant bachelors degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. A teaching qualification, such as a teaching diploma or certificate, is advantageous. Previous experience in teaching marketing courses, particularly in NCV programs, is preferred. Strong knowledge of marketing principles, consumer behaviour, branding, and digital marketing. Proficiency in using technology for instruction, including multimedia presentations and online resources. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage and motivate students. Organizational skills to manage curriculum, assessments, and classroom resources effectively. A passion for marketing and a commitment to fostering students` interest in the field. Responsibilities:

Curriculum Delivery Develop and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the NCV Marketing curriculum. Design instructional materials, case studies, and real-world scenarios to enhance learning. Employ diverse teaching methods, including lectures, discussions, group activities, and projects. Student Engagement Foster an interactive and student-centred learning environment. Encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity among students. Facilitate discussions and debates that encourage students to explore marketing concepts deeply. Practical Application Guide students in applying marketing principles to real-world scenarios. Assign projects that involve market research, analysis, and the creation of marketing plans. Assessment and Evaluation Develop a variety of assessments, including assignments, presentations, quizzes, and exams. Evaluate student work, provide timely feedback, and assess progress based on course outcomes. Student Progress Monitoring Maintain accurate records of attendance, assignments, and assessment results. Identify struggling students and provide additional support or refer them to relevant resources. Industry Relevance Stay updated on marketing trends, industry practices, and emerging technologies. Integrate real-world examples and case studies into instruction to enhance practical relevance. Collaboration and Professional Development Collaborate with fellow educators and department heads to ensure alignment of curriculum. Attend marketing-related workshops, seminars, and conferences to enhance subject knowledge. Mentorship and Career Guidance Provide mentorship to students, helping them explore potential career paths in marketing. Offer guidance on building a professional portfolio and networking within the industry. Classroom Management Maintain a respectful, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment. Enforce college policies and promote positive student behaviour.
