Minimum qualification required for this position: Grade 12 FAIS Compliant If not candidate will have to attend a Learnership to obtain necessary credits. Minimum experience required for this position: 1-2+ years Commercial Underwriting experience Salary Range R15 000.00 + (negotiable depending on experience & qualifications) Primary purpose of the position: Ensure that the insurance requirements of existing insurance clients are identified and met. To keep the Brand Promise of meeting and exceeding client expectations. Demonstrate Personal Competence Please find below a brief overview of the Job Description for the abovementioned position: Typing speed and accuracy: 45 55wpm; 100% accuracy Intermediate Numeracy and Maths skills Typing of general letters / correspondence, spreadsheets, templates, quotations Quoting existing clients and amending policies Retaining Clients wanting to cancel and Issuing new policies where required Collecting Unpaid Premiums Telephone queries Updating client records Managing an electronic diary in terms of day to day follow ups Electronic filing and document management Checking schedules relating to amended, renewed or transferred policies Archiving client correspondence Project Assistance
