Job Description
Your responsibilities will be the following:
- Reporting quality incidents and non-conformances
- Quality Inspection patrol and reporting on findings
- Mentors, trains, guides, and provides knowledge and support to team members
- Provide on the job training to ensure quality standards are met
- Ensure non-conformance parts/materials are identified with hold labels and placed in quarantine
- Participates in Continuous improvement activities
- Participate in 4M Changes (Man, M/C, Method and Material)
- Actively participate in the implementation ISO and ITAF standards
- Update and maintain calibration register/schedule.
- Implementation of Health and Safety Standards
Qualifications
- Matric
- Relevant Higher Diploma or Certificate in Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering or related fields
ISO certification ISO 9001. ISO14001, ITAF 16949
Skills
- At least 5 years relevant Quality Assurance & Quality Control experience in a Quality Supervisory role or similar position in Automotive Manufacturing or Manufacturing or related
- Understanding of QMS is critical
- Reads and Interprets Quality specification data with un understanding of company policies and internal
controls. - Knowledge of Auto CAD, Poly Works Faro programs advantageous
- Familiar with safety protocols and regulatory requirements in a manufacturing environment
- Employee and Industrial Relations knowledge
- Knowledge of Microsoft applications, with intermediate Excel
Salary / Package
R15,000 – R17,000 CTC PM
