Job Summary
Hire Resolves client in the Transport Industry is urgently seeking the expertise of a Transport Supervisor to join their team in KwaZulu-Natal.
Responsibilities:
- Planning of driver to make collections/delivery
- Ensuring that vehicle checklists are done and uploaded on our online system
- Planning vehicle maintenance schedule/service schedules – in line with customer demands
- Register collections/deliveries on the system, for invoicing purposes
- Ability to do mechanical inspections – to highlight any non-compliant vehicles
- Planning driver leaves / Training / License Renewals etc
- Monitor vehicle expenses – Fuel / Driver costs / Repairs etc.
Requirements:
- Valid Driver License – Min Code 10
- Knowledge of Dept of Transport requirements – for vehicles transporting goods
- Knowledge of Loading/Unloading requirements – Driver Safety Precautions
- Ability to communicate in English – Afrikaans will be an advantage
- People from previously disadvantaged ethnic groups will be an advantage
- Can be Male/Female
