Job Summary

Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough inspections of mechanical components, equipment, and systems to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of incoming materials and finished products.
Utilize precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify product dimensions and tolerances.
Document inspection results accurately and maintain detailed records of quality assessments.
Identify and report non-conformities or deviations from quality standards to relevant stakeholders.
Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
Participate in the development and improvement of quality control processes and procedures.
Adhere to safety protocols and quality assurance guidelines at all times.
Communicate effectively with colleagues and management regarding quality-related matters.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or certification in mechanical engineering or related field preferred.
Proven experience as a QA inspector or similar role in the mechanical engineering industry.
Strong knowledge of mechanical inspection techniques and quality control principles.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
Familiarity with precision measuring tools and testing equipment.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Familiarity with quality management systems (ISO 9001, AS9100, etc.) is a plus.
