Job Summary

Duties and

Responsibilities:

Remove old HVAC equipment for new installations. Run pipe and duct systems. Read wiring diagrams. Understand refrigeration cycles and technical data. Conduct complex diagnostics, repairs, and replacements. Embrace the latest HVAC/R technologies and sustainable practices. Plan and prepare teaching materials and identify learning outcomes. Assess and moderate student performance. Provide student support. Handle administrative tasks. Assist learners/employees in understanding materials. Prepare and update training reports. Align equipment and follow technical manuals. Qualifications: Diploma in HVAC/R. Industrial refrigeration mechanic red seal. Assessor and Moderator certification (NQF Level 4). Work Experience: 3 years in HVACR industry. Gas handling experience. Proficient in servicing various systems. Experience in leadership facilitation and assessment. Familiarity with legislative and quality assurance requirements. Attributes: Strong organizational and planning skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong people skills and ability to work under pressure. Motivated and confident communicator. Attention to detail and integrity. Ability to work across diverse cultural backgrounds. Working Hours – Mon to Fri 7:45 – 16:30
