Job Summary

Responsibilities:
Assist with loading invoices and maintaining accurate records. Manage stock by assisting with receiving deliveries, checking inventory, and packing items. Coordinate with storemen to prepare and deliver supplies to lodges in a timely manner. Conduct weekly visits to lodges and villas to inspect housekeeping, food, bar, and equipment stock levels. Monitor and manage stock takes, ensuring accurate loading of figures and timely reporting. Compare prices from suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness. Maintain equipment lists from villas and lodges and update managers on shortages. Utilize the Sage stock system for inventory management.
Requirements:
Computer literate with proficiency in Excel, Word, and Email. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with suppliers, managers, and colleagues. Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate effectively. Experience working with stock management systems, preferably Sage. Physical strength and ability to work in cold environments (fridges/freezers) as needed. Good understanding of administration within food and beverage or stock-taking systems. Valid driver`s license (Code 8/10) and a clean driving record. Matric or Grade 12 certificate preferred. Minimum of 3 years` experience in hospitality services, ideally within reputable establishments. Valid PDP (Public Driver`s Permit) would be advantageous. Location: This is a live-out position – seeking a candidate preferably based in Grahamstown.
