Job Summary
Job Description:
Sagen Advisory Recruitment company is recruiting a seasoned professional to fill the role of Senior Facilities and Asset Manager for our Property Management client, based in Hartbeespoort Dam and Fourways.
In this leadership position, you will play a pivotal role in shaping both the facility and asset management strategies. The successful candidate will have a strong background in business administration, finance, or a related field, with 5+ years of progressive experience in facility and asset management roles.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Facility Management:
– Oversee and optimize day-to-day facility operations to ensure a safe and efficient environment.
– Develop and implement strategic plans for long-term facility management.
- Advanced Asset Management:
– Develop and implement advanced asset management strategies, including portfolio optimization and risk management.
– Make strategic decisions on asset allocation and investment opportunities.
- Financial Leadership:
– Lead budgeting and financial management activities for facility operations and asset portfolios.
– Provide financial leadership and guidance to ensure optimal resource allocation.
- Strategic Direction:
– Provide strategic direction for facility and asset management initiatives.
– Align facility and asset management goals with overall organizational objectives.
- Leadership and Mentorship:
– Collaborate with executive leadership to ensure alignment of facility and asset management strategies with organizational goals.
– Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering their professional development.
- Risk Management:
– Implement advanced risk management strategies for both facility and asset-related risks.
– Develop contingency plans to mitigate potential challenges.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor`s degree or Diploma or Qualifications in business administration, finance, or a related field.
- Practical knowledge of facility and asset management practices.
- Budgeting and financial management skills.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in facility and/or asset management roles.
- Proven track record of successful portfolio management and strategic decision-making.
- Strong leadership and mentorship skills.
- Computer literate.
- Valid driver`s license.
- Own transport.
