Job Summary

RS Recruitment Services is assisting a well-established organisation in the STEEL MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY to recruit a JUNIOR PAYROLL ADMINISTRATOR to be based at their head office in LA LUCIA, DURBAN . Market related salary with benefits. OUR CLIENT, LISTED ON THE JSE, OPERATES IN SOUTH AFRICA, THE UNITED KINGDOM, AND THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. The ideal candidate should have/be the following: Solid experience in a similar role dealing with weekly wages is imperative. Solid experience in a similar role dealing with monthly salaries. Solid experiance with Sage Pastel Payroll Partner or similar. Payroll administration experience dealing with approximately 250 employees. A relevant qualification. Experience working with various business entities within a group would be advantageous. Intermediate to advanced Excel skills. Strong administrative skills. Accuracy and attention to detail. Key responsibilities, but not limited to: Maintain, update and add all employee payment records for payroll. Capture all leave in the correct allocations for employees. Check that Excel payrolls and signed off payrolls reconcile. Process payroll and run payroll exception report. Prepare UI19, COS and Salary Schedule for terminated employees, paternity and maternity leave. Assist with all payroll related queries from the Labour Department, MIBFA etc. Prepare and print the cheque requisitions for each creditors transaction payment. Remuneration: Market related salary with medical aid and provident fund benefits. 15k -25k
