Job Title: Senior Process Engineer
Location: Piet Retief, South Africa
Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Process Engineer to join our client`s team in Piet Retief. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and improving manufacturing processes, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in process engineering and a proven track record of successful project management.
Responsibilities:
– Lead and manage process improvement projects, from conception to completion, ensuring deadlines and budget constraints are met.
– Analyze existing manufacturing processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to optimize efficiency and reduce waste.
– Develop and implement standard operating procedures to ensure consistency and quality in production processes.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve any process-related issues that may arise.
– Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
– Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers and technicians to enhance their skills and knowledge in process engineering.
– Stay up-to-date on the latest industry trends and technology advancements to constantly improve manufacturing processes.
Requirements:
– Bachelor`s degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Master`s degree preferred.
– Minimum of 5 years of experience in process engineering, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
– Proven track record of successful project management and process improvement initiatives.
– Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
– Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and standards.
– Proficiency in process simulation software and MS Office Suite.
