Job Summary

Our client is seeking a Chief Executive Officer who will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction for the company, ensuring the achievement of its vision, mission, and goals. The CEO will oversee all operations, develop and implement effective strategies, and ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement the companys strategic plan to advance its mission and objectives and to promote revenue, profitability, and growth. Provide visionary and strategic leadership to the company, ensuring alignment with the overall strategic direction. Communicate effectively with the Board of Directors, providing timely updates on progress towards strategic goals. Oversee the company`s day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, service, and cost-effective management of resources. Implement operational best practices across all departments, including production, marketing, finance, and human resources. Ensure compliance with all local and international regulations governing the tobacco industry. Develop and manage the companys annual budget and financial plans. Monitor financial performance, ensuring the company meets its financial targets. Provide accurate and timely financial reports to the Board of Directors. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, industry associations, suppliers, and customers. Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and other events to enhance its reputation and brand. Lead, motivate, and develop the executive team to ensure the achievement of company goals. Foster a culture of high performance, continuous improvement, and commitment to quality. Implement effective talent management strategies to attract, develop, and retain top talent. Identify and mitigate potential risks to the company, including market, operational, financial, and compliance risks. Develop and implement risk management policies and procedures. Skills: Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills. Strong business acumen and decision-making capabilities. Exceptional leadership and team management skills. Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills. Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders. High level of integrity and ethical standards. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Agriculture, or a related field; a Masters degree is preferred. A minimum of 10 years of senior management experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the tobacco industry. Proven track record of success in developing and implementing strategic plans and achieving business objectives. Strong financial acumen and experience in managing budgets and financial performance. In-depth knowledge of the tobacco industry, including market trends, regulatory requirements, and best practices. Experience in manufacturing is preferred.
