Job Summary:

As a Consumable Direct Buyer / Procurement Officer, your role will focus on supplier relationship management, and ensuring the optimal balance between cost, quality, and efficiency in the consumable procurement process.

Responsibilities:

1. Financial Perspective:

• Implementing and optimize procurement budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and financial efficiency.
• Implement cost-saving initiatives while maintaining high-quality standards in Consumable procurement.

2. Customer Perspective:

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand end-user requirements and preferences.
• Ensure the availability of a diverse and high-quality Consumable inventory that meets customer demands.

3. Internal Business Processes:

• Streamline and enhance the procurement process for Consumables, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
• Implement procurement strategies that align with overall business objectives.

4. Learning and Growth Perspective:

• Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and advancements and prices changes in Consumable procurement
• Continuously improve personal and team skills to adapt to evolving procurement practices.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

• Cost Savings:
  • Achieve targeted cost savings in Consumable procurement through negotiation and strategic sourcing.
• Supplier Performance:
  • Monitor and enhance supplier relationships to ensure timely deliveries and high-quality products.
• Inventory Management:
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels to meet customer demands while minimizing excess stock.
• Process Efficiency:
  • Implement improvements in the procurement process to enhance efficiency and reduce lead times.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor`s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Procurement Officer or Buyer focusing on Consumable material for multiple national sites
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
