Job Summary
Ensure the Project Controls team is performing to their full potential. Identify Project Controls personnel development and training requirements, perform the training where possible otherwise recommend. Process and Procedure Development, including Baseline establishment and revision, estimating, cashflow, contingency establishment and management, forecasting, probabilisticmethodologies, planning and scheduling, document control, change management, payments, risk, commitments. Create and maintain projects and portfolio baselines. Co-ordinate monthly report inputs and completion Provide key inputs to the monthly report. Fulfil the role of custodian of the WBS and control changes and formal revisions. Develop, maintain, and control changes to the Project Code of accounts. Identify variances and recommendations to address. Role model constructive relationships within Projects department and other stakeholders Participate in audits and reviews as required. Provide financial information to corporate as required. Develop issue and maintain Projects Calendar noting cut off dates, report due dates Develop and maintain the WBS. Review and approve all package pricing schedules prior to providing to the commercial department. Participate in package development, tender and award process including provision of pricing schedule(s), milestones and contract clauses relating to Project Controls related information submission. Assist in commercial claim assessment and negotiation. Co-ordinate Funds approvals compilation and approvals Develop, administer and issue portfolio wide reporting and insight including dashboards, KPIs, costs, cash flow, progress, risk, schedule. Regularly participate in site-based meetings for determination of scope, progress and issue resolution Qualifications Grade 12 and Relevant degree 10-15yrs experience Extensive experience in mining and petrochemical engineering.
