Job Summary
Our client is looking for an experienced and dynamic Country Manager to oversee and manage their operations within Beira. This role demands a strategic leader with a proven track record in business development, team management, and market expansion.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the countrys strategic business plan to achieve company objectives. Analyze market trends and adapt business strategies accordingly. Monitor and report on the performance of the countrys operations against set goals. Business Development: Identify new business opportunities and develop relationships with potential clients and partners. Lead negotiations and close deals with key stakeholders. Ensure continuous growth in market share and revenue. Operational Management: Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness. Implement and manage quality control processes to maintain high standards of service delivery. Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations. Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing team. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment. Set clear performance expectations and provide regular feedback. Financial Oversight: Ensure financial targets are met and take corrective actions when necessary. Report financial performance to senior management. Customer Relations: Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. Address and resolve any customer complaints or issues promptly. Key Skills: Leadership: Strong ability to inspire and lead a diverse team. Strategic Thinking: Capable of developing long-term plans and strategies. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Negotiation: Skilled in negotiating contracts and agreements. Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and make informed business decisions. Financial Acumen: Proficiency in managing budgets and financial reporting. Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field. A Masters degree is preferred. Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in a senior management role, preferably as a Country Manager or in a similar capacity. Travel: Willingness to travel as required.
