Job Summary
Hire Resolve is currently seeking a talented Data Scientist to join their client`s team in Johannesburg. As a Data Scientist, you will play a crucial role in leveraging data to drive insights and inform decision-making within the organization. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze complex datasets and develop statistical models to solve business problems. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and analyze business problems
- Develop statistical models and algorithms to extract insights from complex datasets
- Apply machine learning techniques to predict and optimize key business outcomes
- Design and implement experiments and conduct A/B testing to evaluate hypotheses
- Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
- Continuously assess and improve the accuracy and effectiveness of models and algorithms
- Stay up to date with the latest developments in data science and technology
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, or Economics
- Proven experience working as a Data Scientist
- Proficient in Python, Anaconda, Notebooks, TensorFlow/Keras, OpenAI, and PUB/SUB messaging services.
- Familiarity with AI architectures and their application in diverse scenarios.
- In-depth knowledge of statistical modeling, machine learning, and data mining techniques
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders
