Job Summary

Our client is looking for a dynamic HR Business Partner (HRBP) with strong experience in the quick service restaurant (QSR) or hospitality industry. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of retail and hospitality operations, excellent people management skills, and a strategic mindset to drive HR initiatives that align with the business objectives.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement HR strategies that support the business goals and drive operational excellence. Oversee the recruitment process, from job posting to onboarding, ensuring the attraction and retention of top talent in the QSR/hospitality sector. Serve as the primary point of contact for employee concerns, facilitating conflict resolution and fostering a positive work environment. Implement and manage performance appraisal systems, providing guidance and support to managers on performance-related issues. Identify training needs and develop programs to enhance employee skills and career progression. Ensure all HR policies and procedures comply with legal regulations and industry standards. Monitor HR metrics and provide regular reports to senior management on workforce trends and HR initiatives. Drive initiatives to boost employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention within the organization. Skills: Strong Retail/QSR Experience: Proven experience in HR roles within the quick service restaurant or hospitality industry. Strategic Thinking: Ability to align HR strategies with business objectives and contribute to organizational growth. Excellent Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with employees at all levels. Problem-Solving Skills: Proactive approach to identifying and resolving HR-related issues. Leadership: Ability to lead and influence others, driving HR initiatives and fostering a positive work culture. Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to the fast-paced and dynamic environment of the QSR/hospitality industry. Data-Driven: Competency in using HR metrics and data to inform decisions and improve processes. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A Masters degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is preferred. Minimum of 5 years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in a HRBP role within the QSR or hospitality industry. In-depth understanding of HR best practices, labour laws, and compliance requirements specific to the QSR/hospitality sector. Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Experience / Profile: Extensive experience within all aspects of HR and the employee life cycle. Previous experience and knowledge of labour law. Skilled on Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Proven experience working with HR business tools, i.e. SAP Successfactor. Understanding of a matrix environment and global organisation.
