Job Summary
Description:
Hire Resolve`s client is currently seeking a skilled Plant Fitter and Turner to join their mining team in Gauteng. As a Plant Fitter and Turner, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery and equipment in the mining plant.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair plant machinery and equipment
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the proper functioning of equipment
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with machinery and equipment
- Perform repairs and reassemblies as necessary
- Monitor equipment performance and make adjustments as required
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities
- Adhere to all safety and environmental regulations
- Collaborate with other team members to improve equipment reliability and productivity
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Fitter Trade Test
- 5 years` experience as a Fitter in the mining industry.
- Knowledge in Metallurgical Gold Plant.
- Understanding the upkeep requirements for conveyor belts, Knelson concentrators, thickeners, mills, pump cells, gearboxes, agitators, pumps, reactors, dewatering screens, and other metallurgical plant machinery.
- Valid Drivers License
