Job Summary
The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, fostering strong relationships with potential clients, and promoting our platform. This role calls for a self-driven individual with a profound knowledge of software solutions and target markets.
Responsibilities:
Identify and research potential clients in utilities and smart metering. Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet revenue targets. Maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients. Initiate outreach plans via calls, emails, LinkedIn etc. Present and demonstrate the value of our SaaS platform to potential clients. Manage full sales cycle from lead generation to closure. Prepare and deliver sales proposals, contracts, and presentations. Monitor and report on sales metrics and performance. Maintain updated knowledge of industry trends, market conditions, and competitors. Establish foundation for our African Market expansion.
Requirements:
5-6 years of experience in software sales/implementation, business development, or related role in utilities or smart metering. Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets. Proficient understanding of tech solutions with ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
