Job Summary
Hire Resolve is currently recruiting for a Senior Architectural Technologist to join a leading architecture firm.
As a Senior Architectural Technologist, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing architectural projects from inception to completion. You will work closely with clients, contractors, and other professionals to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the highest standards of quality.
Responsibilities
- Skilled in documenting and constructing large-scale mixed-use and complex commercial buildings.
- Proficient in creating sketch illustrations using Revit, aligning with Architects project requirements.
- Experienced in preparing and coordinating council submission documentation, including SDP and Building Plans.
- Capable of producing detailed working drawings in collaboration with other disciplines.
- Attends site meetings and performs quality control inspections.
- Conducts site inspections and oversees construction activities on behalf of the Architect.
- Strong team player.
Requirements
- Bachelor`s (Honors) degree or equivalent NQF 7 or 8 qualification in Architecture.
- Minimum of 5+ years` post-graduate experience.
- Registered with SACAP (South African Council for the Architectural Profession).
- Proficiency in Revit, with certification preferred.
- Completion of B+P Revit Assessment with a minimum score of 80%.
- Advanced knowledge and experience in council documentation and submission processes.
- Advanced skills in technical detailing and construction documents.
- Advanced understanding of site administration and project management.
- Strong communication skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Dedication to delivering excellent client service through efficient and high-quality work.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Experienced in problem-solving and decision-making.
- Effective planning and organization of workflow and resources to meet deadlines.
- Capable of building strong working relationships within project teams and with clients.
- Demonstrates a positive example and shows loyalty to the company.
