Job Summary
Our client is looking for a Senior Investment Officer to join their team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a technically demanding environment within a growing investment management business.
Responsibilities:
Manage investment pipelines Originate and negotiate investments Draft investment term sheets Conduct due diligence of prospective investees, including detailed financial analysis and management meetings Prepare screening memos and investment memos Apply investment guidelines, investment committee decisions, and E&S policies Work with legal counsel to negotiate final investment agreements Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders Oversee investment and operational teams Support fundraising efforts Contribute to the growth of the fund business, including new fund strategies Key Skills: Excellent analytical abilities Strong written and spoken communication skills Team player with the capacity to learn new skills Financial institutions analysis Mezzanine or structured credit investing Impact investing Strong network with prospective investees and investors Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting Strong analytical and quantitative skills Excellent leadership and communication abilities Qualifications: Proven experience in investment management CFA or equivalent certification preferred At least 10 years of relevant experience
