How you`ll role

The SEO Specialist plays a crucial role in collaborating with the SEO team, Head of Performance Marketing and Head of Strategy to implement Algorithm SEO processes, ensuring clients receive strategic direction and optimal campaign outcomes. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of SEO principles, emphasising client-centric approaches and active participation in training and supporting junior team members. Duties encompass various aspects, including keyword research, content strategy development, on-page optimisation, technical audits, and monthly reporting. Additionally, the specialist contributes to client presentations and strategic direction. Other requirements include in-depth knowledge of Google Analytics, familiarity with SEO tools, and a minimum of over 2 years of SEO experience, along with basic HTML proficiency and excellent communication skills. Professional skills range from administrative and management capabilities to financial acumen and proficiency in Google Docs. Key experiences involve exceptional organisational skills, effective communication, and the ability to manage workloads under pressure, showcasing a commitment to continuous learning and building strong working relationships.

What you`ll do

• Keyword research and mapping
• Content strategy, mapping and reviews
• On-page optimisation
• Technical SEO audits and recommendations
• Site speed audits and recommendations
• Technical implementation of recommendations
• Monthly reporting and insights
• Client presentations
• Training of junior team members
• Strategic direction across clients
• Update project management tools inline with SEO process
• Reviewing of junior team members work
• Create an understanding of the clients` industries/business areas
• Help review agency work, ensuring that outputs meet client briefs
• Have knowledge of long-term strategic direction of clients
• Help ensure quality assurance
• 100% proficient in all company tasks and SEO processes
• Drive the adherence and implementation of the process and the tools associated with it
• Reviews of SEO deliverables – check for errors and that work is of the required quality to send to the client
• Drive key clients strategically
• Ensure error free work is the standard
• Understand clients and their strategies
• Understanding of GMB, Maps and NAP

What you`ll need

• In-depth Google Analytics knowledge (GAIQ required)
• In-depth Search Console knowledge
• Familiarity with most common SEO tools and platforms
• 2 years experience in the SEO field
• Basic HTML knowledge
• Excellent communications skills
• A desire to learn about all aspects of performance marketing
• Strong administrative and management skills
• Commercial and financial acumen
• Google Docs (Docs, Sheets, Slide, etc.)
• Experience manipulating data in Sheets/Excel
• Automation of manual tasks in Sheets/Excel
• Solid presentation skills
• Detail-orientated and consistent
• Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills with the ability to multi-task and organise
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to prioritise and manage own workload under pressure and to tight deadlines, amid conflicting demands
• Excellent problem-solving skills and proactive in nature, anticipating needs before they arise
• Confident and able to work on own initiative and with limited supervision balanced with being a team player
• High attention to detail
• Aptitude to develop and maintain good working relationships at all levels
