Job Summary
Hire Resolve`s client is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Coordinator to join their team in the manufacturing industry in Gauteng. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and monitor the supply chain operations to ensure timely delivery of materials and products
- Manage inventory levels and work closely with suppliers to maintain optimal stock levels
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs
- Track and analyze supply chain data to identify opportunities for process improvement
- Communicate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth supply chain operations
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to supply chain activities
- Co-ordinate and maintain the replenishment schedule, analyze the schedule by doing what if scenarios, and report on progress
- Track shipments and report daily on timelines
- Manage Export and Import documentation
- Permit applications
Requirements:
- Bachelor`s degree in supply chain management or a related field
- 3+ years operational experience in a FMCG production environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and supply chain management software
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of logistics and procurement processes
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles is a plus
- CPIM / CSCA will be an advantage
- Sound understanding and knowledge of MRP / MPS logic
