Job Summary

Requirements A skilled resource is required to manage the Technology Innovation Laboratory. This lab has been created within the Phase 2 premises and will host technologies from suppliers showcasing innovative solutions. The resource is expected to have access to the premises but not be permanently based at the office however periodically be present at the laboratory. The resource is expected to be present when showcasing the laboratory to any delegates, both internal as well as external. The resource is to be business professional and present well as senior officials and enterprise customers will be present at the laboratory. Project Management skills are expected to take new initiatives through the Governance processes for deployment into the laboratory. Technical capability are also expected to configure and ensure correct working of the equipment in the laboratory. Supplier management is a key skill required to ensure there is a separation in competitive knowledge, as well as ensuring the implementation of any solutions are as per the companies standards and policies and dont conflict with any directive of the laboratorys innovative spirit. The resource will be responsible for the co-ordination of the activities that happen in the laboratory such as improvements or installations of any new equipment. The resource is responsible to onboard any required suppliers as per the governance process. The resource will have to present at various councils to ensure progress with all projects and initiatives. Coordination with Group Technology and Converged Services is a key requirement for days where guests attend the laboratory. Process and Procedures will have to be drafted and maintained for the maintenance and usage of the laboratory. The resource will report into the GM: Network Strategy & Architecture ensuring constant communication and feedback is provided on any activities related to the laboratory.
