Job Summary
Description:
Hire Resolve`s client is currently seeking an experienced Chargehand Mechanic to join their mining team in the mining, based in the Northern Cape. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of mechanics and ensuring the efficient maintenance and repair of mining equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the work of mechanics and technicians
- Ensure timely and efficient maintenance and repairs of mining equipment
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical issues
- Provide technical guidance and support to the team
- Maintain and update maintenance records and reports
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize equipment performance
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Trade Certificate as an Artisan Mechanic/Auto Electrician or similar
- N3 Certificate in Engineering Studies
- 5 years experience as a Mechanic in the mining industry.
- Proven experience in a supervisory role
- Dover B symbol
- Valid Drivers License (Code B/EB)
