Job Summary
We are seeking a capable Process Tester in our Tissue making production department.
PURPOSE:
- Responsible for monitoring the process in tissue manufacturing plant and taking samples from process points in the plant.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform lab tests for pulp and water.
- Propose adjustments to operational team regarding process, water treatment, deviations.
- Report utilities consumption and process results.
- Participate in maintenance shuts.
- Participate in RCA.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
- Good communication skills (verbal & written)
- Be a team player (be able to work with other people)
- Accountable
- Detail orientated.
- High physical energy levels
- Adapt well to changes in job requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Min 2 years in pulp and paper environment
- Matric
- Diploma Chemical Engineering/Chemistry/Analytical Chemistry Diploma or Pulp and Paper Technology
