Job Summary

Hire Resolve`s client located in Kempton Park, is seeking a Senior HR Officer to join their team. The Senior HR Officer will be responsible for overseeing all HR activities within the company, ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations, and supporting the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the organizations human capital for approximately 2300 colleagues
  • Managing a team of 5 HR professionals
  • Recruitment and Selection Processes
  • Manage the colleague and new colleague engagement process from appointment, enrollment, induction and exit
  • Initiating disciplinary hearings and issuing dismissal documentation with the line manager
  • Employee relations, which include grievance resolution and disciplinary procedure management up to CCMA level.
  • Regulatory compliance champion to ensure HR policy and procedure compliance.
  • Advising senior management on human capital facets HR related regulatory reporting and audit responsibility
  • Compile consolidated reports of performance data and recommend improvements
  • Ensure a culture of performance is entrenched
  • Develop and implement colleague wellness programs
  • Ensure maintenance of documentation and records
  • Compiling weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports
  • Provident fund submissions and authorisations
  • Provide training to senior and middle management on HR-related topics (time & attendance / performance management / IR)
  • Compile, implement and monitor succession plans
  • Compile annual EE report for approval & submission
  • Monitor & report EE plan progress
  • HR Risk / Compliance

Requirements:

  • National Diploma in Human Resource/ Degree in HR or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum of 5 or more years experience in human resources.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a supervisory role
  • Minimum of 3 years IR work experience, including CCMA representation level
  • Experience in dealing with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience in a factory/manufacturing (FMCG) environment would be preferred
