Pezula Nature Retreat is looking for a passionate Front office Night Host. The Host is responsible for the overseeing of daily front office desk operations, ensuring employee productivity, monitoring efficiency of all processes and creating a positive work environment.

Minimum requirements

Matric
Hotel Management Diploma (advantageous)
Minimum 2 years experience in the same or similar position
Multi-venue experience advantageous
Strong OPERA knowledge
Valid driver`s license and own vehicle (advantageous)

Duties and responsibilities

Courteously and accurately answer enquiries from potential guests
Accept hotel reservations
Respond to enquiries (telephone, email, in person) regarding reservations, hotel information and guest concerns
Resolve customer issues, complaints, problems in a quick, efficient manner to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and quality service
Allocate rooms to expected arrivals after checking guest preferences and special requests
Assist all departments in servicing the guests especially during high volume periods
Adhere to company credit limit / floor limit policies
Controls cash transactions at the front desk and maintains complete responsibility for personal bank
Analysing customer feedback and providing strategic direction to continually improve overall rating
Responding to guest needs and anticipating their unstated ones
Promote all guest amenities, conveniences and programs offered
Recommend local tourist spots, including places to dine, shop and sight-see
