Job Summary

Note: this position is that of a duty manager level, only focused on the housekeeping department.

Candidate requirements:

Must have a minimum of 2 -3 years of Housekeeping Management experience in a 5-star boutique operation or Big 5 reserve
Must have working experience in Budgets & Stock Control
Room Division or Front of House Experience – a plus
Hospitality and Service training experience – a plus
Must have Excellent literacy skills (writing of emails, viewing web pages)
Must be computer literate
Must be fluent in English (both written and spoken)
Own transport and a driver’s license are essential
Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills (listening skills, verbal communication, etc)
Must have a positive attitude, be self-motivated and confident
Must have a sense of humor and of adventure
Have strong people skills
Have a strong guest focus to ensure guest expectations are exceeded
Have Flexibility – adapt successfully to changing situations and environments
Must have high attention to detail

Package:

Live-in position with meals on duty
Pension fund
Staff Lodge Nights
Work cycle – 21 days – 7 days off
Annual leave – 15 days
