Job Summary
Description:
Hire Resolve`s client is currently seeking an experienced Mine Overseer to join their reputable mining company based in Limpopo. As a Mine Overseer, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all mining operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and achieving production targets.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all mining operations, including drilling, blasting, and loading of minerals.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Develop and implement production plans to achieve production targets.
- Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and optimize production processes.
- Manage a team of mining personnel, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering and maintenance, to ensure smooth operations.
- Prepare and maintain reports and documentation related to mining activities.
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- 5 years experience as a Mine Overseer in the platinum mining industry.
- Mine Overseer`s Certificate of Competency.
- First Aid Certificate
- 5 years experience in a trackless mining environment.
- Knowledge of mining regulations and safety standards.
- Understanding of the Mining Charter
