Job Summary
ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS: – Strong test automation skills – Strong manual testing background – Experience with Cucumber framework, Selenium box, Nexus Repo, Git, GitHub, SQL – Any additional responsibilities assigned in the Agile Working Model (AWM) Team Charter ADVANTAGEOUS SKILLS REQUIREMENTS: – Java Spring Boot and J2EE – Angular (Typescript and Javascript) – Cloud Infrastructure (AWS) – Knowledge of Karma, Postman, Rest-assured, SOAP UI – Experience with CI/CD pipelines – Familiarity with Mavan, Docker – Experience with Jira, Confluence – Understanding of REST and SOAP web services QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED : – IT Degree / Diploma / Equivalent experience – At least 6 years experience in test automation and manual testing ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES: – Create, develop, expand, and deploy test automation frameworks and scripts for Java applications. – Perform manual testing. – Compile test cases based on business requirements. – Take ownership of team quality and ensure it improves over time. – Contribute to the refinement and sizing of user stories. – Develop a deep understanding of business requirements. – Create test data reflecting various scenarios. – Develop systems solutions in line with quality and delivery requirements. – Identify risks/impediments and proactively resolve and/or escalate them to the relevant parties. – Comply with Code Compliance & Unit Testing standards and practices. – Prepare system/technical documentation. – Provide support for existing solutions. – Proactively share knowledge, mentor, and coach team members and members from other teams. – Perform other responsibilities as per the AWM Charter or as decided by the department manager.
