Job Summary
RedCat Recruitment is seeking an experienced HUMAN RESOURCES, PAYROLL & COMPLIANCE OFFICER for a well-established concern, position based in the Howick area, KwaZulu-Natal Midlands. JOB DESCRIPTION Grade 12. Certificate and/or Higher Certificate in Human Resource Management. Certificates of Attendance or Competency in Labour Law Seminars/Workshops within last couple of years). Person must be able to speak, read and write in English fluently. Valid Code 08 drivers license / own reliable vehicle. Strong computer skills (MS Office / Email). 6mths previous experience with Africlock and Simple Pay or similar package relating to HR modules (eg leave). 5yrs previous working experience as a generalist human resources practitioner/administrator for company of staff complement of approximately 140 employees with regular interaction on labour relations with employees ranging between general worker to supervisory and management level. 2yrs current working experience in practical application and monitoring of disciplinary action and compliance to either company procedure or code of good practice. Experience in online submission of workplace skills plan and training reports. 1yrs experience in employment equity (either submitting online reports or assisting in monitoring of employment equity plan). 1yrs previous working experience in administration and monitoring of leave/attendance control. Position includes providing specific guidance and administrative support to management and staff in regard to industrial relations; recruitment; contracts; training and development; staff evaluations; attendance (leave) and employee relations (attend meetings), preparing monthly reports and maintaining databases, whilst remaining within the parameters of labour legislation, company policy and procedures and maintaining an updated understanding thereof.
