Job Summary
A very well known pathology diagnostic firm is seeking experienced and qualified candidates to join them on a 3-month contract in Polokwane, should be able to start immediately.
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic analysis of patient specimens
- Drive health and safety compliance in the lab
- Preventative maintenance
- Testing
- Troubleshooting QC logs
- Conduct data checks
- CPD presentations
- Sample prep for examination
- Drive data accuracy
Non-negotiables:
- HPCSA registration – Medical Technologist (Microbiology or Clinical pathology with extended experience in Microbiology)
- National diploma / degree
- 0 – 3 years` experience – sampling and analysis of blood, body fluid and tissue
- Must know how to use special instruments
- Excellent English communication – written and verbal
- Problem solver
- Analytical
- Time management
- Detail orientated
- Great interpretation skills and evaluation skills
- Computer literate
- Reference checks will be conducted upfront
