Job Summary
Job Title: Section Engineer – Mining Industry – Limpopo
Location: Limpopo, South Africa
Hire Resolve`s client is looking for a skilled Section Engineer to join their team in the mining industry.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of engineers and technicians to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the mining section.
- Develop and implement engineering plans, schedules, and budgets to achieve production targets.
- Provide technical support and expertise in mining operations, including ventilation, drilling, blasting, and ore extraction.
- Oversee the design, construction, and maintenance of mining infrastructure, equipment, and systems.
- Monitor and analyze production data to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as geology and maintenance, to coordinate activities and achieve common goals.
- Mentor and develop junior engineers and technicians to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and projects to advance the efficiency and sustainability of the mining operation.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Mining Engineering or related field.
- GCC Mines and Works
- 8-10 years of experience in the mining industry
- Previous or current Platinum Concentrator experience
