Job Summary
Hire Resolve`s client has an exciting opportunity for a TMM Section Engineer in Polokwane, Limpopo. Our client is looking for someone with experience in the trackless world and a project management background.
Responsibilities
- Driving Maintenance KPIs of permanent employees, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure vehicle- and equipment availability, reliability, and optimization
- Roll out TMM maintenance strategy to minimize equipment downtime and ensure availability of equipment at the right time
- Manage overall maintenance management performance
- Financial and Budget Control in terms of Mining Maintenance activities
- Managing of change process regarding any deviations to Maintenance activities and work scope
- Manage the establishment of Engineering standards, specifications, and service levels according to organizational objectives to ensure maximum operational availability
- Implement CI initiatives by keeping abreast of developments and introducing change in work processes where appropriate
- Ensure and Maintain Legal Compliance, Audits, and Governance
Requirements
- B Eng/BSc/BTech/National Diploma discipline, National Certificate
- Relevant Mechanical or Electrical Trade Certification
- Mines and Works GCC
- 5 years experience as a Section Engineer of which 3 years are in an Underground TMM environment
- Experience in the in Underground Large Excavation TMM equipment and technology would be advantageous.
- Experience managing a large contractor mining operation
- Operational readiness implementation experience
