Job Summary
Section Manager Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape R45 000 CTC A Manufacturing company is seeking a Section Manager to support the HOD by providing operational and maintenance support in the Charge Room Division. To furthermore design and implement related systems and plans to maximise performance, output and contribute in the achievement of production targets.
Requirements:
Matric (Grade 12) Certificate in Technical/Engineering/Electrical discipline (NQF 5), Trade Tested Artisan (preferably Electrician or Millwright), Certificate in Accounting and Leadership Diploma in Technical/Engineering/Electrical discipline (NQF 6) advantageous Bachelors Degree in Engineering (NQF 7) advantageous Up to 10 years experience in Electrical Production/Operations in Manufacturing, with up to 5 years in a Supervisory role Proficiency in MS Office Suite and relevant discipline-specific software. Understanding of production processes, maintenance practices, and effective communication skills. Key
Responsibilities:
Design and implement efficient production methods, ensuring compliance with standards and improving workflow and performance. Collaborate with Production Control and MMIS Planners to establish effective schedules and ensure optimal machine operation. Ensure adherence to regulations and policies to prevent irregular expenditure and maintain departmental integrity. Foster positive customer relationships and represent the company in stakeholder meetings. Oversee employee performance, conduct appraisals, and facilitate ongoing training and development. Contribute to budget preparation, monitor expenditures, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
