Job Summary
Position: Senior Accounts Manager
Hire Resolves client is looking for an experienced and capable Senior Accounts Manager to join their team in Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies
- Manage a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance and support as needed
- Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and accuracy in financial processes
- Prepare and analyse financial reports, budgets, and forecasts
- Communicate with external auditors, tax consultants, and other financial stakeholders
- Participate in financial planning and decision-making at the senior management level
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Professional accounting designation (CA, CPA, CMA) preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in financial software applications
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Knowledge of the local business and regulatory environment in Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape
