Job Summary
Duties include Vehicle Diagnosis and Repair: Perform diagnostic procedures using BMW diagnostic equipment to determine the cause of vehicle malfunctions. Repair and replace defective parts, components, or systems, including engines, transmissions, and suspension systems. Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential issues and ensure all repairs are completed to BMW standards. Adherence to BMW service standards & guidelines Maintenance Services: Perform routine maintenance services, such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid checks. Follow BMW maintenance schedules and service guidelines to ensure vehicle longevity and performance. Technical Expertise: Stay updated with the latest BMW technical bulletins, service manuals, and diagnostic procedures. Participate in ongoing training and certification programs to maintain and enhance technical skills and knowledge. Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and ensuring their vehicles are serviced promptly and efficiently. Documentation: Accurately document all diagnostic procedures, repairs, and maintenance services performed on vehicles. Complete work orders and maintain detailed records for future reference and warranty purposes. Workshop Safety and Cleanliness: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Keep the workshop clean and organized, ensuring tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored.
Requirements:
Proven experience as an automotive technician, preferably with BMW or other luxury vehicles. A minimum of 3 years Technician/Motor Industry experience is essential. Technician Qualification Red Seal. Group Technician Certification takes preference. ISTA System knowledge and experience. Ability to read & interpret technical manuals. Strong mechanical aptitude & attention to detail. Clear Criminal Record. Valid driver`s license and clean driving record. Knowledge of BMW automotive systems and mechanical issues. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet, and Outlook. Strong organizational, customer service, and communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines. Proactive and results-driven.
