How you`ll role
As a paid media designer you must have in-depth knowledge of advertising policies and guidelines. You will need to know how to operate Adobe Suite and Meta Business Suite features such as asset management, ads and planner. You must also have had experience in designing artwork for ad campaigns. Experience working/building on a WordPress website visual builder like Elementor, Gutenberg, Beaver builder, WP Baker or Divi is required. You will have a good understanding of SEO implementation on a website that can support Google/Social ads. The job day-to-day would involve creating reports, adjusting Google ads recommendations, scheduling and planning adverts, website building / maintenance, SEO implementation on websites, creation of artwork for campaigns and websites. You should be able to design a wide variety of Brand Specific marketing material to be used across conventional media. These designs will communicate ideas that inspire, inform, and captivate the target audience. You will interpret the brand and marketing needs of clients to drive sales/revenue/brand awareness/packaging and convey a certain message to consumers.
What you`ll do
- Make use of Meta Business Suite, Google Ads
- Create reports based on information given by Google Site Kit, Meta Business and Google ads reporting software
- Work within Adobe Suite to create artwork for campaigns and websites
- Standard e-commerce/informative site building and maintenance using a CMS
- Conceptualising and designing print-ready marketing collateral (eg. product packaging, brochures, posters, leaflets, support material, etc.)
- Conceptualising and designing digital marketing collateral (eg. websites, web banners, e-newsletters, social media posts, in store screens, etc.)
- Producing content for social media platforms and maintaining pages
- Working to tight deadlines while maintaining excellent attention to detail
- Reporting
- Online platforms: WordPress, Omnisend, Mylivechat, etc.
- Online paid advertising: Google, Facebook, Instagram, etc.
What you`ll need
- Degree in Visual Communications/Graphic Design (or industry specific)
- A minimum of 3 years experience with a keen eye for details and aesthetics
- Social media platforms and Google (community and paid)
- Adobe Suite Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
- Understanding of website design and SEO
- Branding experience
- Own transport
- Working and collaborating with team members, clients, brand strategist, copywriters, photographers and other designers
- Excellent communication skills to accurately convey your concepts to clients and team members
- Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines and cost restrictions
- Highly creative with proven skills
- Adaptable to trends and able to conceptualise original ideas
- Preparing mock-ups and presentations
- Image manipulation
- Adapting and rolling out approved concepts to various media
- Work on multiple briefs at the same time
- Adhering to a clients brand identity and guidelines
- Able to work with little direction
- Excellent understanding of design principles such as typography, space, colour composition
- Digital design (motion graphics / 3D rendering – advantageous) incl. a strong well-rounded portfolio/link that demonstrates this
- Working knowledge of Facebook, Instagram and Twitter (including analytics and reporting)
- Skills such as HTML, MailChimp and Omnisend would be beneficial
- Reliable, punctual, independent, honest, and hardworking
- Good at self-management and comfortable with working alone or in a team
- Eager to learn and grow
- Keen to be part of a close-knit, high-quality creative team
- Experience using CMS systems
- Knowledge of Sage time tracking and Monday.com would be an advantage
